The proposed Land Use Plan amendment for Kutzky Park was unanimously approved by the City Council, last night May 15. There was very little discussion following the presentation of the plan other than the council's praise bordering on amazement for the quality and extent of the work put into the plan by Imagine Kutzky, as well as nice words for the KPNA in general and its commitment to improving the neighborhood. Congratulations and THANK YOU to all involved!

The next step in the approval process for the proposed Imagine Kutzky Land Use Plan Amendment will be a public hearing at the
City Council at 7 p.m. this evening, May 15th, in the Board/Council Chambers in the Government Center, 151 4th Street SE
Members of the Citizens Council strongly believe that the large number of neighborhood residents that showed up to support the plan at the Planning and Zoning Commission hearing (where the amendment was unanimously approved) sent a positive message about the neighborhood's committment to improving conditions in Kutzky Park. If you attended, thank you for your support, and we hope to see all of you (and more!) this evening.
