Crime affects us all. And when an ex-offender moves in next door, we begin to feel the indirect affects of a previous crime. But how does our response affect the cycle of crime?
The fact is, 600 ex-offenders will be released into our neighborhoods statewide this year. Chances are, your neighborhood will be affected. So how can we respond to this in a way that makes our communities and our neighborhoods safer places to live?

To give a short history, a year or so ago when we began to reorganized the KPNA we unearthed KPNA's two old yet different bylaws. The oldest on was far from representing our present association. The second and newer on, seen below, more closely fit our organization yet did not represent our practices so it was set forth that we should update our bylaws to fit our model. Bellow is a draft of these bylaws with the corrections tracked. It is our goal to discuss any changes to these bylaws at our Feb. KPNA meeting, have a final version to vote on in March so we can apply this to our April elections. Please review. Any comments would be appreciated.
